Ever wanted one chest to fit all of  your items?
Or  wanted relatively bigger storage options for chests without adding too many mods?
Well now you  can!
Compact Storage adds one block that can create chests and backpacks (coloured or not)!
Available in 1.12.2 , 1.15.2 and fabric: 1.15.2 and 1.16.2! Made by: tobystrong!

The chest builder  is a crafting block for chests and backpacks. You choose the 9 columns and rows for a chest / backpack and just add the materials and boom!
You can ago as far as 12 x 24 slots of storage!

While it may seem overpowered as you up the storage capacity you'll require some materials like:
Chests
Clay
Iron ingot and fences...

It can be seen throught out youtube in Sky Factory 4. Used as a storage component for early game and system accessing!
